👩🏻‍💼 Business Thought

Last month I shared my appreciation for all of you amazing people, this month I would like to talk about kindness!

In my doom scrolling, I often see videos come up from other creators. Some creators have years of experience, and some are just starting out on their creative journey. But what they all have in common is that they are trying to spread art and love to the world.

Sometimes I find myself in the comment sections, and while often I see a lot of support for these individuals, I also often see hate. This truly breaks my heart.

These creators work so hard on something they’re passionate about and that brings them joy, and are truly so brave to share that passion with the world.

Seeing hate comments on their posts makes me want to scream. If someone doesn’t enjoy a form of art, thats fine. But to take time to actually say hurtful things to someone who is just enjoying the beauty of art is low.

There is so much anger and negativity in this world already. I will never understand why any of that gets directed at people who are just trying to spread a little light and joy, no matter their skill level.

So next time you’re scrolling and you see hate in someones comments, be a superhero and leave something positive for them. With kindness and love we can balance out, and even overpower the hate. And you never know how much that creator might need to hear a positive word. ❤️

It's almost time friends!! Fanexpo is right around the corner and i’m gearing up for a bountiful show!! I will be bringing lots of classic mug designs with me, like my foxes, octopus and luna moths, but I will also be bringing some new designs!! get excited to see dragons, dolphins and whale sharks among other things at this years show!!
