👩🏻‍💼 Business Thought! 

Last month we talked about the issues of imposter syndrome, this month I’d like to talk about taking time to step back and take care of yourself.

Even when working a job we love, there can be times where we feel overwhelmed and like life is too much. This is an important time to step back and do some self care.

It’s ok to need time for yourself to recharge and feel good again. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re being lazy or unproductive. Your mental health is pivotal in creating a successful work environment and needs to be tended to the same way your business does.

So next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, and the thoughts of doom and gloom won’t let up, step back. Take a breath. Recharge. It’s ok to not feel ok. It’s not ok to let those feelings rule your life. So do what you need to do to regain your confidence and then jump back in to work with excitement and clarity!

This months giveaway is going to be a BIG one!! I will be giving away one Roll 4 Dragon mug!! This is a new project I’m working on where I use dice to decide your dragon and put it on a mug! So the winner will receive a randomly generated dragon that I will illustrate for them! The creation of the mug will be recorded as an episode of my Roll 4 Dragon series so the winner can rewatch their mugs conception any time! Check out these two examples of previous dragon mugs to see what style it will be illustrated in!

🧽 Pottery Tools I Love!

Fan Brushes!! I loooooove glazing with fan brushes! No bulky handle that rubs and scratches the walls of your pots while you glaze. Big fan of bristles to soak up lots of glaze and allows for thick applications. Skinny handle also means great control when applying! I can’t recommend these glazing brushes enough. They come in a range of sizes to suit all of your project needs, big or small!
