I was checking your tracking every day, anxiously waiting to see them move and i’m just so relieved they finally have! Thank you all so incredibly much for being so patient and understanding through this process! You made this very stressful transition so much more manageable through your support and kind words! I am hopeful now that packages should be moving at a more normal rate now that ChitChats has figured out CUSMA and duty free shipping ❤️

👩🏻‍💼 Business Thought

Last month we discussed peek performance and staying on top of your game. This month I’d like to talk about trying new ideas!

There have been many times when I have come up with an idea for my business, but then never went forward with it out of fear of failure or that it would not be well received.

A good example of this is my Roll 4 Dragon series. My nerdy side was so in love with the idea, but I was also terrified that I was just going to embarrass myself having to talk on camera.

I debated back and forth for a while whether or not to try it, but eventually I thought, screw it, if i’m a little embarrassed so what? Theres also a chance people will love this idea as much as I do! So I made the first episode of Roll 4 Dragon using my boyfriend as the first customer.

I told myself, make 10 episodes, even if you have to do them all for free for friends and family. If after those 10 episodes you get no sales, then you know Roll 4 Dragon isn’t going to work out.

But guess what, it did! After episode 3, every roll 4 dragon has been an actual purchase, and I am so excited!!

What I learned from this experience is that, when you have an idea, just go for it! The worst that can happen is it doesn’t catch and you have to come up with a new idea. Or the opposite could happen, and now you have a fun new business venture to add to your arsenal!

So be brave and put yourself out there!! Its hard, but its worth it!!

🧽 Pottery Tools I love!

These tools are a bit pricey, but they are honestly so worth it. Diamond Core has some of my all time favourite tools. I will definitely be highlighting more of them, but for today I would like to talk about the diamond core grinding disk! This is a pot saver!! All those kiln opening where you get a rogue glaze drip, or sad plucking on the bottom of your pot… well this grinding disk can save you! Put it on your pottery wheel, add some water, and grind away all of your problems! You can find all things diamond core here!
